Spiritual Education Tour for Students of Sri Gananatha Moral Development School

Students from Sri Gananatha Moral Development School in Vantharumoolai recently had the opportunity to take part in a spiritual education tour across historic Hindu temples in the Batticaloa District. This educational journey also included a special visit to the memorial of Swami Vipulanandar, a renowned Tamil scholar and cultural figure.

The program was sponsored by the Nalliah Foundation and facilitated by Vanni Hope as part of our support for Araneri (Moral Development) Schools under our Community Development initiatives.

Enriching the Moral Fabric of Future Generations

This excursion was designed to strengthen students’ understanding of spirituality, history, and values by allowing them to directly engage with sacred sites and cultural heritage. For many students, it was their first time visiting these locations, offering an unforgettable experience that nurtured both knowledge and devotion.

The visit served as a valuable extension of their classroom learning, fostering curiosity, discipline, and respect for cultural traditions. It also provided moments of inspiration, as students reflected on the lives of spiritual leaders like Swami Vipulanandar, whose legacy continues to shape Tamil education and cultural identity in the region.

A Heartfelt Thank You

We are incredibly grateful to the Nalliah Foundation who made this tour possible through their ongoing guidance and sponsorship of the Sri Gananatha Moral Development School, and to our team members who facilitated this tour and the operation of the moral development school.
