A new vocational training centre in Chavakachcheri, Jaffna District has begun construction, supporting education and community development for thousands.
Safe and hygienic kitchen facilities are essential for student health and wellbeing. This project restored and upgraded the hostel kitchen at Sithyvinayakar Hindu College in the Mannar District, supporting 50 students with improved cooking conditions, better sanitation, and a safer living environment that enables uninterrupted education.
Before this project, students at Barathi Araneri School in Golinda Estate, Kegalle District, had been learning in a metal hut with little protection from the elements. With the generous support of Thamo & Puspam Gangatharan and Vanni Hope, a new school building has now been constructed, providing a safe and structured learning environment for these children.
After severe storm damage tore off the roof of a classroom at J/Ramanathan Hindu Ladies College, Vanni Hope stepped in to fully restore the classroom under our Education Support Project.
