Shelter for Life Project Providing Safe Housing for Priyatharshini and Her Family in Mankerni

Vanni Hope is proud to announce the completion of another impactful project under our Shelter for Life initiative. We provided a permanent home with sanitation facilities, including a toilet, for Priyatharshini and her family in Mankerni, Vaharai, located in the Batticaloa District of Sri Lanka.

Comprehensive Support Beyond Housing

At Vanni Hope, we believe in going beyond just building houses. This project reflects our commitment to providing comprehensive support for families in need. Along with constructing a safe and durable home, we also built sanitation facilities to ensure the family’s hygiene and overall wellbeing.

Sanitation is a critical component of healthy living, and by including a toilet in this project, we are addressing more than just shelter needs—we are improving health outcomes, supporting dignity, and enhancing the quality of life for Priyatharshini and her family.
