Vanni Hope is honoured to contribute to improving healthcare services at the Kathiraveli Divisional Hospital in Batticaloa District. As part of our Health and Wellbeing Empowerment Project, we have donated a range of essential medical equipment to this vital healthcare facility, including a multiparameter patient monitor, a spinal board, 48 batteries for digital blood pressure apparatus, and other necessary equipment. This initiative is a significant step towards ensuring that underserved communities receive the high-quality medical care they deserve.

Supporting Quality Patient Care with Advanced Equipment
The donation of the multiparameter patient monitor marks a crucial enhancement to patient care at Kathiraveli Divisional Hospital. This advanced equipment allows healthcare providers to closely monitor vital signs and respond more effectively to patients’ needs. Alongside the multiparameter monitor, the spinal board and additional batteries for digital BP apparatus further equip the hospital staff to deliver prompt, accurate care. By strengthening the hospital’s resources, Vanni Hope is helping to elevate the standard of medical services available to the local community.
Making a Tangible Impact in Healthcare
This impactful project was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Dr. Nage Nagendran from the USA. His commitment to giving back has paved the way for better healthcare in Sri Lanka, empowering healthcare professionals at Kathiraveli Divisional Hospital with the tools they need to deliver timely and precise medical interventions. This donation enhances the hospital’s capacity to save lives and significantly improves the quality of care provided to patients in the region.
Bridging Healthcare Gaps in Underserved Communities
Vanni Hope remains steadfast in its mission to bridge gaps in healthcare services for underserved communities across Sri Lanka. Through initiatives like this, we aim to provide the resources and support necessary to create a more equitable healthcare landscape. Access to quality medical care is a right, not a privilege, and our ongoing projects reflect our commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals and families in need.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in making this initiative a reality. Together, we are helping to build a brighter, healthier future for Sri Lanka.
