Saraswati Pooja Celebrations at Our Hill Country Girls’ Home

We are thrilled to share the joy of the recent Vijayadashami festival celebrations at our Hill Country Girls’ Home in Badulla. Over nine days, the children came together in devotion, performing rituals, singing hymns, and celebrating the sacred Saraswati Pooja with immense dedication. This annual tradition provides the children not only with spiritual fulfillment but also emotional healing, helping them uplift their spirits.

The children took part in pooja ceremonies by placing kumbam, sowing navadhaniyam, reciting Thevaram hymns, and reading the Sakalakala Vallimalai. These sacred acts, done with sincere devotion, left a lasting impression on the hearts of the children, bringing them a sense of peace and accomplishment. For those facing personal hardships, this event gave them a reason to smile and renewed hope.

At Vanni Hope, we are committed to creating an environment that fosters spiritual, emotional, and educational growth. We sincerely thank all those who have continually supported the children, providing them with the means to grow and flourish. Your contributions ensure that their lives are enriched, and for that, we extend our heartfelt gratitude.

“இன்பமே சூழ்க எல்லோரும் வாழ்க” (May happiness surround us all).
