We are proud to announce the reopening of the Village Heartbeat Empowerment Centre (VHE) in Thirukkovil, Ampara District. This centre, now supported by Dr. Malathi Waran and Vanni Hope, in collaboration with the Foundation of Goodness, is dedicated to providing life-changing skill development and vocational training opportunities to underserved communities. The centre focuses on empowering women and youth by offering a wide range of courses designed to equip them with practical, in-demand skills.
Women attending the centre can enrol in vocational courses such as sewing, tailoring, and beauty culture. These programs provide participants with essential tools to establish their own businesses or seek employment, fostering economic independence. Additionally, children and youth benefit from ICT and language training, which is crucial in today’s digital and globalised economy. By providing free access to these programs, the Village Heartbeat Empowerment Centre is playing a pivotal role in 
transforming the future of rural communities.
