Two Future Nurses Sponsored by Vanni Hope Excel in Their Final Year

As part of our ongoing Education Support Initiative, Vanni Hope is proud to highlight the recent achievements of two dedicated nursing students, Ms. Q.S.A. Christina Culas and Ms. N. Mercy Croos, who are currently completing their studies at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Green Memorial Hospital, Manipay.

Both students are now in their third year, second semester, and are only a few months away from graduating with a Diploma in Nursing (NVQ Level 6). Their journey so far reflects their hard work, resilience, and commitment to becoming compassionate healthcare professionals.

Christina Culas – A Consistent High Performer

Christina has consistently excelled in both her theory and practical components. Her academic results show outstanding performance across all key subjects, including perfect scores in Pharmacology, Paediatric Nursing, and Community Health Nursing. She has also demonstrated excellence in clinical application, patient care, and communication.

She recently completed a three-month clinical training program at Northern Central Hospital, gaining valuable hands-on experience. Additionally, she successfully sat for the NVQ Level 6 theory examination, conducted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC), and passed all subjects on her first attempt. Christina is now preparing for the upcoming practical examinations and is on track to complete her diploma with distinction.

Mercy Croos – Committed to Care and Growth

Mercy has shown consistent dedication throughout her nursing studies. Her academic results reflect a steady performance in key subjects, including Geriatric Nursing, Paediatrics, and Community Health. She has also benefited from the same three-month clinical training program at Northern Central Hospital, which strengthened her practical skills and confidence in patient care.

Mercy continues to progress with enthusiasm and is preparing for her final semester exams scheduled for July 2025. With her positive attitude and commitment to her goals, she is well-positioned to step into a meaningful career in nursing.

Looking Ahead

Both Christina and Mercy have made great strides in their academic and professional development, supported throughout their journey by Vanni Hope. Their success demonstrates the power of education and the significant impact that timely support can have in helping young people reach their full potential.

We are grateful to our donors and supporters who make it possible for students like Christina and Mercy to thrive. We look forward to celebrating their graduation and watching them step into the healthcare workforce where their knowledge, compassion, and training will make a lasting impact.
