Smart Board Training Supports Teachers in Trincomalee

Vanni Hope is proud to announce the successful completion of our latest Education & Skill Enhancement Project—a comprehensive Smart Board training program for teachers from 11 underprivileged schools in the Trincomalee District. This two-day training session, held on April 21st and 22nd, aimed to equip educators with the skills they need to effectively integrate modern teaching tools into their classrooms. With the generous support of Vanni Hope, a total of 50 teachers participated in this initiative, learning how to leverage Smart Boards to create more interactive and engaging learning environments for their students.

The training was conducted by a skilled facilitator who guided the teachers through various aspects of using Smart Boards to enhance student learning. Topics included best practices for incorporating technology into lessons, interactive teaching techniques, and ways to make learning more dynamic and accessible for students. Teachers left the session with practical insights and a renewed enthusiasm for using technology in their classrooms, expressing their gratitude to Vanni Hope for organising this valuable program.

This initiative is part of Vanni Hope’s ongoing efforts to transform education in remote areas by providing modern teaching tools and resources. The schools that participated in the training include T/T/Kolakkoddam Tamil Vidyalayam, T/T/ Palmpottaru Siththi Vinayahar Vidyalayam, T/T/ Mullipothane Vikneshvara Vidyalayam, and many others.
