Today marks an exciting milestone for Vanni Hope as we officially partner with World Vision Lanka (WVL) to further our shared mission of empowering communities and transforming lives across Sri Lanka. This partnership aligns with our vision to uplift vulnerable communities through grassroots engagement and sustainable development initiatives.
World Vision Lanka, a globally recognised non-governmental organisation, brings expertise in Transformational Development, Humanitarian Emergency Relief, and Advocacy Activities. Their extensive experience and commitment to improving the well-being of children and families make them an ideal partner for Vanni Hope’s work.
Over the past decade, Vanni Hope has built strong relationships with communities across the island, addressing pressing needs in areas such as Education, Water & Sanitation, Health and Wellbeing, Housing, Livelihoods, and Women’s Empowerment. Our experience working directly with those affected by poverty and instability has uniquely positioned us to make a meaningful impact.
Through this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed today, Vanni Hope and World Vision Lanka have committed to collaborate on several key Community Development projects. This partnership will allow us to leverage our grassroots presence and WVL’s resources and expertise to expand the reach and effectiveness of our initiatives.
Together, we aim to:
- Build sustainable, community-driven solutions that address both immediate needs and long-term development goals.
- Enhance access to quality education and healthcare.
- Empower women and families through targeted livelihood programs.
