Vanni Hope is excited to announce the installation of a new Smart Board at R/Navalar College, Hapugastenna, Gallella – Ratnapura, generously sponsored by the dance students of Mrs. Dhamayanthi Balaraju. This cutting-edge technology is set to revolutionise the way students learn by bringing modern educational tools to their fingertips, enabling a more interactive and engaging learning experience.
We were honoured to have retired Professor Kumbesan Sandrasegeran from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) as a special guest during the event. Professor Sandrasegeran led a mathematics lesson for the students using the new Smart Board, demonstrating the power of technology in enhancing educational outcomes. His involvement added a layer of inspiration for both students and teachers, showcasing the potential of these tools to make complex concepts more accessible and enjoyable.
This initiative is part of Vanni Hope’s ongoing efforts to uplift educational standards in underserved communities across Sri Lanka. By providing resources like Smart Boards, we aim to bridge the gap in access to modern learning tools, preparing students to meet the challenges of an ever-evolving digital world. The Smart Board will empower teachers to deliver lessons that are both dynamic and visually engaging, making learning a more immersive experience for all.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dance students of Mrs. Dhamayanthi Balaraju for their generous support in making this project a reality. Together with the guidance of community partners and dedicated educators, we are laying the groundwork for a brighter, more connected future in education.
