Outstanding A Level Results from Two Vanni Hope Sponsored Students

We are proud to celebrate the outstanding G.C.E. Advanced Level results achieved by two students supported through Vanni Hope’s Student Sponsorship Program. Their success reflects resilience, discipline, and a strong commitment to education despite challenging circumstances. Both students were generously sponsored by the Ganendran Foundation
USA through Vanni Hope, enabling them to pursue their studies without financial barriers.

MoganaPiriyan – Batticaloa District

MoganaPiriyan, from Arasaditheevu North in Kokkaddicholai, Batticaloa, is a dedicated student of Methodist Central College who has successfully completed his Advanced Level studies in the Physical Science stream, achieving 3 A passes. This result is a testament to his hard work, focus, and determination to excel academically.

He comes from a humble background where his father works as a daily wage earner. His mother serves as a hostel warden at Vanni Hope’s Shakthi Illam Girls Home in Batticaloa. At Vanni Hope, we make it a point to go above and beyond in supporting not only our team members but also their families. MoganaPiriyan’s achievement reflects both his personal dedication and the strength of the support system around him.

F. Fathima Sahna – Trincomalee District

F. Fathima Sahna, from Paalayootru in Trincomalee, is a hardworking student of T/Zahira College who has achieved strong results in the Biological Science stream, securing A, B, and C passes. Her performance reflects consistent effort, resilience, and a clear commitment to her academic goals.

Fathima Sahna comes from a challenging background. Her father has passed away, and her mother is a housewife caring for the family. She has two sisters. Despite these circumstances, she remained focused on her studies and demonstrated remarkable determination throughout her Advanced Level journey.

We again, thank the Gnanendran Foundation for their generous sponsorship, which enabled Fathima Sahna to continue her education without financial pressure. Their support has helped create an opportunity for her to move forward towards higher education and future career pathways.
