Vanni Hope proudly celebrates Sivakumar Kiruththika, a bright and determined student from KM/KM Wesley High School, who has achieved outstanding success in the 2024 G.C.E. (A/L) Examination. Kiruththika secured 3A passes in the Commerce stream, excelling in Accounting, Business Studies, and Information and Communication Technology, with a Z-Score of 1.6209, a District Rank of 36, and an Island Rank of 2440.
A Story of Courage Against the Odds
A Story of Courage Against the OddsKiruththika’s path to success was anything but easy. Her father left the family even before she was born, leaving her mother to raise her as a single parent. Despite the emotional and financial hardships, Kiruththika’s mother, working tirelessly as a child caretaker, provided unwavering support and encouragement.
Growing up in a modest household, without the presence of a father figure, Kiruththika faced many challenges that could have derailed her dreams. Instead, she chose to rise above them. With incredible resilience, she focused on her education, demonstrating maturity, responsibility, and a burning ambition to succeed.
Her achievement is not just an academic milestone; it is a victory over circumstance, proving that strength, perseverance, and hope can light even the toughest paths.
The Power of Sponsorship
Kiruththika’s journey was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Mr. Canisius Gnanasooriyar from Australia, whose support ensured that financial difficulties would not stand in the way of her potential. Sponsorship gave Kiruththika the breathing room she needed to focus entirely on her studies without the heavy burden of financial worry.
At Vanni Hope, we believe that stories like Kiruththika’s embody the true spirit of our Student Sponsorship Initiative—empowering the next generation, one child at a time.
